The Diasporadical Initiative

Who Are We

THE DIASPORADICAL INITIATIVE is a non-profit organisation based in Barbados that is dedicated to educating and empowering the African Diaspora through the exchange of contemporary and classical culture. We believe that by sharing our cultures and experiences, we can build a stronger and more united community.

The organisation implements diverse programs aimed at actively involving young individuals, fostering stronger connections, and enhancing an exchange of knowledge between Africa and the Diaspora.

Our Focus

The organisation recognises the challenges faced by the African diaspora, including the lack of information, connections, and opportunities in their new host countries and the motherland. To address these issues, THE DIASPORADICAL INITIATIVE aims to establish a global framework where diaspora associations, individuals, and organisations in the host countries, collaborate and support each other in a mutually beneficial way.

Through an engaged platform, we will facilitate meaningful connections, promote resource-sharing, and enable the transfer of opportunities to educate, empower,  and grow. By harnessing the potential of the diaspora, including diaspora direct investment, the organisation aims to achieve collective empowerment for sustained impact.
