Founded in Barbados in 2024, The Diasporadical Initiative is a non-profit dedicated to closing the gap between the Caribbean and Africa by honouring the ancestry we share.
Our focus is on the next generation. We’re working with youth through four main pillars, Culture, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability, and foster cross-learning to build programmes that empower them to lead. This year-round work happens in our classrooms and communities, connecting us to a global diaspora.
We call our approach Ancestral Intelligence (AI). By treating our culture as a living, breathing asset, we’re using the wisdom of our past to solve the challenges of the modern world. Whether it’s unlocking new paths in tourism or rethinking technology, we’re building a future-ready diaspora.
Join the movement. Whether you want to donate to our school programmes, partner with us for our flagship AFRICA FEST, or simply lend a hand as a volunteer, we want you in the room.
